In conjunction with the 2026 Chicago Scottish Festival & Highland Games

The House of Boyd Society, Inc. warmly invites members, families, and friends of the clan to gather for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and clan fellowship during the

2026 Chicago Scottish Festival & Highland Games.

The Annual General Meeting is an opportunity for members of the Society to reconnect with fellow Boyds, share genealogical discoveries, celebrate our heritage, and participate in the governance and future direction of the House of Boyd Society. Over the years, the AGM has been held in various locations across the world in conjunction with major Highland Games, allowing members from different regions to take part in the clan’s annual gathering.

This year, we are pleased to gather during one of the Midwest’s largest celebrations of Scottish heritage.

The Chicago Scottish Festival & Highland Games features traditional Highland athletics, pipe bands, Highland dancing, Scottish food and music, clan tents, cultural exhibitions, and activities for the entire family, celebrating Scotland’s rich history and traditions.

House of Boyd Society Clan Gathering

Members and friends are invited to visit the House of Boyd Society Clan Tent throughout the festival weekend.

At the tent, you will be able to:

• Meet fellow Boyds and associated family members
• Share genealogy and family history
• Learn more about the history of Clan Boyd
• Participate in the Clan Parade
• Enjoy fellowship with clansmen and guests
• Take part in the annual clan photograph

President’s Reception

The weekend will begin with an informal President’s Reception at the clan tent.

This is an opportunity to reconnect with fellow members, welcome new attendees, and enjoy fellowship as the festival begins.

Annual General Meeting

Saturday, June 20, 2026

Location: House of Boyd Society Clan Tent

The AGM is the Society’s official annual meeting.

Members will receive updates on the past year’s activities, discuss the future direction of the Society,

and conduct official business according to Robert’s Rules of Order.

All members are encouraged to attend and participate.

the House of Boyd Society tent to enjoy conversation, share stories, and celebrate our common heritage.
