My grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Boyd, married to Obed Bean. This is my first time to visit this site. How do I become a member? I am very interested in my relatives.

this is really cool stuff. i always wanted to know where my family came from. it seems that when you are a young white male whose family has been in the states for many years that you have no heritage. it makes you feel very disconnected and insignificant. it is great to know that i actually came from somewhere and have some kind of roots. i cannot wait to find out more. if i can help in any way i would gladly do so. thank you!

My mother's maiden name was Boyd. Her father as a baby with his family moved from Glasgow to Belfast in the 1800s. My mothers family moved Australia in 1920s. Thank you for an interesting site
